ABOUT ME
Founder, Sarah Branch, is an accredited ADHD Coach with over 40 years lived experience of attempting to squeeze an ADHD shaped brain into a neurotypical world.
At the age of 42, I was diagnosed with ADHD—after over 20 years as an accountant, battling executive dysfunction, emotional dysregulation, and the often crippling effects of Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria. As a freelance finance manager, mother to two teenage daughters, and stepmom to another two (all of whom are various flavours of neurospicy), my life is anything but calm. Staying disorganized simply isn’t an option! (Update - I've now also been diagnosed with autism).
The Birth of Squirrel Planners
Squirrel Planners was born out of my search for the perfect analogue planner to support time-blocking techniques. Like many women with ADHD, I had an office shelf full of half-used or untouched planners and notebooks. I could never find the right solution that fit my needs, so I decided to create it myself.
Our Manifesto
At Squirrel Planners, we don’t believe in quick fixes or “curing” ADHD. Instead, we focus on small, manageable steps—using kaizen principles of continual, incremental improvement—to make life a little easier. Our planners aren’t about rigid routines or forcing yourself to fit into a mould. They’re about experimenting with new strategies, increasing self-awareness through journaling and discovering what works for your unique brain.
There is no blueprint for how to "normal". There is no planner on the planet that will help you to "neuro-typical" your way through the day. And even if there was, would you want to? We are not here to push toxic positivity or force you to conform, work harder, or overcompensate. Instead, we encourage rest, self-compassion, and creating systems that meet your needs. Our planners offer tools to support you, gentle guidance to foster continual improvement, and techniques to deepen your understanding of your own unique ways of working.
Squirrel Planners are built on the belief that living with ADHD isn’t about trying to “fix” yourself. It’s about accepting who you are, embracing your quirks, and finding harmony with your ADHD. Our planners are just one part of a broader toolkit designed to help you build self-sufficient resilience and a sense of your own worth.
A lot of free download websites work from pre-packaged PDF sets that have been created to be bought and redistributed with a logo on them. My workbooks and downloads have been individually crafted to combine decades of learned experience with my ADHD Coaching knowledge and includes resources from across the internet from renowned ADHD/Audhd influencers and academics.
