Below are some hand picked resources that will give more insight into being present in the moment and mindfulness for ADHD brains. These are taken from a variety of sources and I have included the time requirement for each.

Being Present in the Moment with ADHD (Article, 5 mins)
Fascinating personal account by Felipe of his experience and how he found the book, The Power of Now by Erkhart Tolle to be an invaluable resource. Access the article here.

Practising Mindfulness for your ADHD (Podcast 39 mins)
This is by far the best and most ADHD friendly Mindfulness resource I have come across. Featuring special guest Casey Dixon and created by Taking Control: The ADHD Podcast, this is my number one resource for this theme. Access the podcast direct here.

Anchoring: A Strategy for Weathering Life (Article, 10 mins)
This brief article in Psychology Today magazine provides a quick guide to creating and using anchors to centre yourself in the present. Access the article here.

Make Mindfulness Work for You (Free download, 15 mins)
This is a free downloadable info-sheet by Additude Magazine, packed with ADHD specific Mindfulness information and a catalogue of additional resources. Access the download page here (requires email registration).

The Things you can see only when you Slow Down (Book, 2 hours)
This beautiful book brings together a library of anecdotes on mindfulness, written by Buddhist monk, Haemin Sunim. It's a great resource to dip in and out of. Available on Amazon here.

Living in the Moment with an ADHD Mind (Article, 15 mins)
In this Additude magazine article, Emily Chen provides her own account of practising Mindfulness and the challenges it can present with an ADHD brain. Access the article here.
